Young receives EMC BEE Award

On Thursday, May 16 Emanuel Medical Center staff had the privilege of presenting Latena Young with the BEE Award. The BEE (Being Excellent Everyday) award recognizes and honors non-nursing support personnel that demonstrate principles such as integrity, compassion, teamwork, respect, kindness, sincerity and creating the best experience for their patients.

Young was nominated multiple times by patients, and co-workers. They praised her bright personality, her can-do attitude and how hardworking she is.
