Week 7 had them on the move!

Family Connection had the Sleuths hunting for their new books with clues about “new roads” and “sweet rides” even though the participants won’t be driving age for several years. It was all in the fun to get the families to the secret business for week 7- Daniels Chevrolet! Many thanks to Daniels who are strong supporters of Family Connection and the work we do to improve childhood literacy.

So far, with one more week to go, we have had 102 families participate in this fun project to get kids excited about reading over the summer months. Families are reminded that we will have the end-of- hunt party at the Library on Saturday, July 27, from 10 to 11 a.m. Books that were missed will be available along with refreshments, and t-shirts for those who were successful in at least two hunts.
