Elease Turner, Past President-Emanuel Retired Educators Association (EREA), delivered and presented a significant contribution to the Georgia Retired Educators Museum. Several months back, while cleaning out her son’s room, Ms. Turner wondered if the old Sanyo television was the type on GREM’s want list. She called and sent pictures to Mrs. Marcia Wendel, Chair-Georgia Retired Educators Museum. Mrs. Wendel stated, “Yes, that’s the type with the huge, long back.” This was the type of television teachers checked out from the library and rolled on a cart to their classroom to show educational programs or movies. While at the museum, Ms. Turner found memorial bricks of loved ones and a retired educator friend. She also did volunteer work in the office.
