The Swainsboro Rotary Club met at the Rustic Grill for the weekly meeting on Monday, March 31, at 12 p.m. President Zack Proctor called the meeting to order, and the club recited the pledge and the four-way test. The club discussed the Pine Tree Festival beauty pageant and some details concerning that event. Patti Hendley introduced the speaker for this meeting, Brett Tucker. Brett is married to Jana Tucker. They have three children and live in Twin City. Brett is the Land and Legal Rights Coordinator for Georgia Transmission Corporation and manages acquisition efforts on dozens of multi-million-dollar projects from Ellijay to the Florida line, along with leading a team of land agents. He gave a very interesting presentation on the responsibilities of the Georgia Transmission Corporation and their role in providing power to the EMC’s. After a question-and-answer session, the meeting was adjourned.
