Representing Swainsboro High School were Bryer Price, Donivan Oglesby, Gain Glisson, and Kolby Edenfield. The competition tested their expertise in welding, electrical wiring, small engines, land leveling, and compact equipment operation. The team performed well against tough competition from schools across the region, securing 7th place in Area 4.
The FFA Ag Mechanics Contest is designed to challenge students in real-world agricultural mechanics applications, helping them develop critical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience. Swainsboro High School’s FFA program continues to provide students with opportunities to grow their technical knowledge and prepare for future careers in the agricultural industry.
