The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at Twin City Elementary with the following members in attendance: Brandon Jones, Cherie Hooks, Del Brown, Tanya Lane, Sandra Swinney and John Allen Bailey. Johnny Parker was absent. Chairman Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Sandra Sweeney then delivered the invocation followed by Brandon Jones leading the Pledge of Allegiance. John Allen Bailey made a motion to approve the Agenda. Brandon Jones seconded the motion. John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Cherie Hooks, Brandon Jones, Tanya Lane and Sandra Swinney voted “yes.” CARRIED.
