August 2
Officer responded to a call from SPD in reference to a walk in report. Upon arrival, officer met with 2 individuals. One of them stated that she laid her phone down in the girl’s bathroom at Swainsboro High School. She stated that she went back to look for her phone and it was gone.
Officer was at SPD when an individual stated that she needed to make a report. She stated that she was at the Dollar Tree when she left her purse in a shopping cart. She went back in the store and got the purse from the manager, but there was $64 dollars missing out of it.
Officer was dispatched to SPD in reference to a walk in report. The victim stated that the offender had been harassing her at her place of work. She also stated that the offender has tried to fight her multiple times. Complainant wanted to make a report so she could get a TPO or restraining order against the offender.
Officer was dispatched to North Anderson Drive in reference to a call about an unwanted person. C/p stated that the offender would not leave his apartment after he asked her to leave multiple times. She told c/p that she would hurt herself if he made her leave. She stated that she did not have anywhere else to go. The manager stated that she wanted the offender criminally trespassed from the premises.
911 dispatched officers to HWY 56 North in reference to irate parents refusing to leave. C/p stated that during her visitation with her son, the offender became aggressive with him and started saying inappropriate things to him. The offender was arrested.
Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to a report for a dispute where the offenders had already left. C/p’s were outside and stated that the offenders came into the restaurant and asked for spicy chicken. Then, the other offender stated that she would take the chicken however they made it. The offenders came back and started yelling at employees that the chicken was not right. They threatened the employees and stated that their son was a police officer and would come handle them.
August 3
Officer was dispatched to New Street in reference to music being too loud and waking up surrounding homeowners. Officer did not hear any music from the house upon arrival but saw a neighbor who stated that the music woke her up. She stated that she went to the store when she woke up, but when she returned the music had stopped. Officer told offender that if there was another complaint the offender would be charged.
Officer was dispatched to McLeod Bridge Road in reference to an adult hitting a woman’s child. 911 advised that the offender had left the premises. C/p stated that the child’s father came to her residence and started arguing with the child. The offender became physical with the child and was asked to leave but hit the child.
Officer was at SPD when a male approached him and stated that he needed to make a report about an incident that happened on Lewis Street. He stated that he was at the location with his friend when another subject showed up with a handgun. C/p stated that he and the offender got into a verbal argument when the offender put a gun to his head. He then took the gun off of his head and shot one round in the air. He left shortly after.
Officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting in progress. C/p stated that two subjects were currently shoplifting inside of the store. Officers were able to detain the offenders, one being a juvenile who was released to her parents and the other was arrested.
August 4

Officer observed the offender getting out of her vehicle and stagger into the Waffle King. Offender later got back into her vehicle and officer conducted a traffic stop. Offender was arrested for DUI.
Officer was dispatched to Colegrove Drive in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle at the residence. C/p stated that when she got home that she went inside and forgot to lock her vehicle. When she went back to her vehicle later, her wallet was missing.
Officer ran the tag on a vehicle that came back with no insurance. A traffic stop was conducted, and the vehicle was towed and driver was issued two citations.
August 5
Officer responded to SPD in reference to a walk in report. C/p stated that he misplaced his wallet at a gas station in Macon.
Officer was dispatched to East Meadowlake Pkwy in reference to meeting an 18-wheeler fuel truck. The driver stated that while driving on Kite Road he heard a loud noise and thought a tire had possibly blown or a line broke. He stated that he noticed damage to the left side of his cab that resembled a bullet hole.
Officer responded to a call at East Main Street in reference to a caller claiming her ex-boyfriend was attempting to break into her storage unit. Officer made contact with c/p and offender. C/p stated that the offender claims to have a push mower in her storage unit, but the lawn mower belongs to her.
August 6
Officer responded to SPD in reference to a walk in report. C/p stated that the offender and herself had a 10-year relationship that ended a few months back. She stated that after she broke up with him, he continued to try to contact her even after she blocked his number. The text messages made her feel uncomfortable and he would even stalk her when she is at work. She wanted to move forward with a TPO.
August 7
Officer responded to North Coleman Street in reference to 911 dispatch which reported that an individual had been stabbed in this location. Upon arrival, there was no sign of the victim. Once the offender noticed officers looking in the area, he stood up and began shouting at them, telling them to leave. the offender began cursing and shouting at them, then he was arrested.
Officer responded to a walk in report at SPD. C/p stated that he works for the City of Swainsboro Maintenance Department and wanted to report an Echo pole missing. He stated that city workers were cutting limbs on Carver Street and Gumlog Road. When they left and went to the recreation department, they looked in the back of the bucket truck and the pole was gone.
August 8
Officer was dispatched to Shepard Drive in reference to a report of animal cruelty. Officer immediately noticed two dogs chained up in the yard of the residence upon arrival. The offender would not cooperate with officers and two citations were issued.
Officer conducted a traffic stop that had no valid insurance. A citation was issued.
