March 28
Officer observed offender driving with prior knowledge of offender’s license being suspended, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail for third offense.
Officer was dispatched to N. Anderson Dr. in reference to an intoxicated male subject causing a disturbance. Complainant stated offender has been staying at Latitude 105 since graduating from the Braswell House a week ago and has returned to drinking and has been harassing other residents. Officer approached offender who was slumped over in a chair outside asleep and had to physically move offender to wake him up. Offender was irritated and reluctantly gave officer his ID. Officer could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person as offender stood up and started to leave but was having trouble keeping his balance. Officer ordered offender to stop but h e refused to comply so he was arrested for public drunk and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to W. Moring St. for a report on a gun that was located in a block wall. Complainant stated they were remodeling the building and a worker stated he found a gun in the hollow of the block on the interior wall.
Officer responded to E. Pine St. in reference to a prowler. Complainant advised someone was at her back door juggling the door handle and heard someone on her porch. Officer did not observe anyone around the residence.
March 29
Officers were dispatched to WalMart in reference to a shoplifter. Complainant stated offender took $4.58 in merchandise without paying. Offender was issued a criminal trespass from the premises.
Officer was advised that a firearm was found in the roadway and turned into SPD.
Complainant and offender were at SPD to exchange their child/juvenile. Offender stated she was not going to let c/p take the child because it was not his time. Officer advised he could not force the child swap but a report would be made.
Officers were dispatched to Moring St. in reference to suspicious people in a vehicle going door to door. Officers made contact with the vehicle and the passenger stated he was with two other people and they were in the area working, trying to sell insurance. Officer observed marijuana in the console and the passenger was acting a little weird so all three were detained. Officers found more marijuana in the vehicle, along with a pill bottle with no label suspected to be ecstasy. All three offenders were transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane of traffic several times, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s person and asked her to step out of the vehicle. Officer then asked how much she had to drink and she stated only one earlier. Offender was asked to blow in the PBT and tested positive for DUI. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
March 30
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to complainant stating a buggy pusher went by her vehicle and did not turn wide enough, resulting in them scuffing the driver side of her vehicle.
Officer was dispatched to Elaine Dr. in reference to offender pulling a gun out at a citizen. Complainant stated offender is the ex-boyfriend of her sister due to offender being abusive and her sister has been staying with her and offender showed up unexpectedly. C/p advised she met offender in the driveway and he pulled a glock out and pointed it at her and she yelled for her boyfriend to grab her handgun and offender laid drags in her yard and left. Victim stated she believes offender is tracking her vehicle with an air tag.
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to a shoplifter. Offender left without paying for $74.13 in merchandise. His name was given to officer.

Officer was dispatched to Lee St. in reference to someone being threatened with a knife. Officers made contact with offender and transported him to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to complainant stating she left $40 in the self-checkout. Loss Prevention pulled the surveillance and observed two females walk up to the register and retrieve the money and put it in her purse.
March 31
Officer observed a vehicle traveling 55 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s person and asked her to step out of the vehicle and stated she had not had anything to drink. Offender was asked to perform a PBT and stated she had drank earlier, but her eyes were bloodshot and sleepy looking and she was unsteady on her feet. After several attempts due to offender not blowing properly, she tested positive for DUI. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to Longleaf Dr. in reference to a dog at large. Complainant stated the dog was in her yard being aggressive and stated it went behind her house through the woods onto the next street. Officer then went to the next road, Allen St., to attempt to locate the dog and it ran into the roadway barking and growling at the patrol unit. Officer notified AC1 and the owner came out. He was cited for dog at large and it was taken to AC1.
Officer responded to Center ST. in reference to two people fighting. Officer could hear yelling and cussing from the house and observed a male walking out the front door who was very nervous and did not want to stand still or talk. Officer asked the male subject to sit down and talk to him and he gave his name and DOB. Offender was then ran in GCIC to come back with active warrants but did not look like the male subject. Offender was detained and asked again what his name and DOB was and he gave different info. Officer then spoke with complainant who stated offender/ex-boyfriend went to her house and took her phone and they both hit each other. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Harvey’s in reference to a shoplifter. Complainant advised an employee was shoplifting and was still in the store. Officer observed offender was very nervous and leaning on some pallets. Her speech was slow and she appeared under the influence of drugs. Offender attempted to shoplift $723.43 in merchandise and was found to have meth and drug related object on her person. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to a hit and run on W. Main St. Complainant stated someone hit her vehicle while she was inside the store.
Officer responded to Old Nunez Rd. in reference to a report of dogs at large. The dogs were in the front yard and contact was made with the resident who stated he did not call but he believed the dogs belong to someone a couple doors down and he cannot let his kids go outside because of the dogs running free. Officer then made contact with another resident down the road and he stated the dogs belong to his neighbor. Officer then went to that residence and observed a dog laying in the front yard. Offender came outside and was advised that calls were received about his dogs running free and he stated his dogs were in a pen. He was asked if the dog in his yard belonged to him and he stated yes but it keeps getting out of the pen. Officer called AC1 and asked if they had dealt with the residence in reference to dogs at large and he advised he had been the at least twice about the dogs. Offender was issued a citation.
Officer responded to Mitchell St. in reference to a hit and run that took place at WalMart. Complainant stated he was exiting WalMart when he saw a SUV strike his vehicle, back up and drive behind WalMart.
April 1
Officer was sitting stationary in front of Subway and when the driver of the vehicle next to him opened his door, officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana. The driver left and officers conducted a traffic stop on S. Coleman St. Due to probable cause, the vehicle was searched and a blunt, digital scale, marijuana and a marijuana pipe was found. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer took a walk-in report in reference to stolen property. Complainant stated he received a letter from the IRS saying they received a tax return for 2022 using his name and SS# and he did not file a tax return. C/p stated he went to the SS office and was told someone was using his info to work at a location in Warner Robbins.
Officer took a walk-in report in reference to complainant stating he went to a apartment complex on N. Racetrack St. to give a friend a ride and as he was talking to the friend, a male subject reached into his car and snatched his glock and took off running. C/p stated that his friend told him the male subject’s “street” name.
April 2
Officer was dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to a male intoxicated and making customers uncomfortable. Offender stated he thought he could drink then walk across the road to buy more alcoholic beverage. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a motorcycle traveling 50 MPH in a work zone and cross over three lanes with oncoming traffic. The motorcycle then parked in front of Dollar Tree in a no parking zone and quickly walked inside. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
