March 3
Officer to a walk-in report in reference to a custody dispute.
Officer made an arrest on offender for an active probation warrant through JAG Probation. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
March 4
Officer observed a vehicle traveling the wrong direction on a one-way street, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Driver advised he was not licensed and had no form of ID. 911 advised the vehicle did not have valid insurance. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail and the vehicle was towed.
Officer was dispatched to W. Main ST. in reference to a theft. Complainant stated someone has been on her property snooping around her shed and took her security camera down. C/p also advised a back window of her other residence had been left open.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated offender will not return a PS5 that she is making payments on at Rent-A-Center.
Officer responded to Racetrack St. in reference to a male subject knocking on caller’s door and walking around her car port. Contact was made with offender who started yelling and asking officer what he wanted. As officer stepped around the front of his patrol unit, offender told him to back away and leave his property. Officer tried speaking with offender and he continued interrupting him and speaking over him.
Officers responded to McDonald’s in reference to complainant stating a male subject collided with his vehicle and brandished a knife, threatening to cut c/p’s throat. Offender exited his vehicle and began yelling at officers and continued to cause a public disturbance by yelling profanity toward officers. Offender attempted to re-renter his vehicle and continued to yell profanity, at which time he was detained and transported to EmCo Jail.
Offender was arrested for a warrant and transported to EmCo Jail.
Offender was arrested for a probation warrant and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to Family Dollar in reference to a shoplifter.
March 5
Officer observed a vehicle with no tag and dark tinted windows, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Driver provided paperwork where he purchased the vehicle less than 30 days ago from FL and a valid insurance card. Driver’s license came back with a warrant out of Burke Co., and they wanted to place a hold. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Subway in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated she and offender were arguing over a vehicle and offender took the keys and was putting his hands in c/p’s face and hitting her in the face with his fingers and threatened her.
March 6
Officer was advised that offender was going to SPD, and he had an arrest warrant. Once offender arrived, he was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched in reference to theft of lost property. Complainant stated he went to get his ID card out of his bag and discovered it was missing, along with his CashApp card, bank card, SS card and EBT card.
Officers were dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant stated she and offender got into an argument that led to a fight. C/p advised offender was under the influence and officer observed scratch marks and dust marks on c/p’s knees and shin.
Officers were dispatched to Deluxe Inn in reference to damage to a vehicle. Complainant stated she wasn’t sure where the damages happened.
March 7
Officer responded to WalMart in reference to criminal trespass. Complainant advised offender was asked to leave but keeps returning to the store and wanted him trespassed. Offender was criminally trespassed from WalMart until September 7.
March 8
Officer stopped at Enmarket and was approached by complainant who stated someone had taken his money. C/p stated the cashier could not break a $100 bill and a male subject stated he would pay for his items so he gave the casher a $20 and took the $100 bill, then gave c/p $14.41 back and told him he would have to walk out to his vehicle to get the rest of his change and he gave him $16. C/p stated when he asked for the rest of his change, offender told him to follow him to the 24-hour store and offender refused to give c/p the rest of his money, which was $70.
Officer observed a vehicle traveling 51 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and asked the driver if there was any in the vehicle and he handed officer a small bag. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a stolen bike that had been recovered. Complainant stated he received a call telling him his son’s bike was found on Gumlog Rd. C/p arrived at the location to find his son’s bike had been cut in half and was told by a female subject that a known male subject had cut the bike in half but did not know why.
Officer was dispatched to Northside Beverage in reference to a dispute. Victim stated she and her boyfriend were having a verbal argument, and he began choking her and she must have gone unconscious because she woke up on the floor and offender had left. Officer reviewed video footage, and it was clear that offender choked c/p and she collapsed on the floor. Offender was located and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers responded to Gumlog Rd. in reference to someone being assaulted. Victim was sitting in the passenger side of a car with blood all over her arms and legs with an open wound on her arm. EMS was requested and arrived on scene. Victim stated offender punched her in the head and kept hitting her and thinks he cut her. Victim was transported to EMC ER.
March 9
Officer responded to Stevens Dr. in reference to terroristic threats. Victim and offender appeared to be in an argument and victim stated offender would not leave her alone. Victim advised she and offender got into an argument the night prior, and offender splashed gasoline on her vehicle and threatened to light it on fire, and she drove away.
Officers were dispatched to Swainsboro Housing Authority in reference to vehicle damage. Complainant advised she and offender got into an argument, so she left and went to her mother’s because she was concerned for her safety. C/p stated she received a text from offender threatening to kill her pets. The following morning, victim observed both of her driver-side tires on her vehicle had been punctured. Officer was unable to make contact with offender so an arrest warrant will be issued.
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to complainant wanting offender removed from the premises.
