December 14
Officer responded to W. Church St. in reference to complainant stating her ex-boyfriend showed up at her house and when she wouldn’t answer, he started knocking on her windows and doors and pulling on the doors like he was trying to get inside. Offender was gone upon officer’s arrival, and they patrolled the area but were unable to locate offender.
Officer observed a vehicle with a non-functioning taillight. Officer got behind the vehicle and observed the vehicle drift toward the right side of the road multiple times, onto the curb, braking erratically and striking a curb nearly hitting a light pole, at which time officer activated his emergency equipment to perform a traffic stop. Officer approached the driver and observed that he appeared to be fidgety and was slurring his words. The driver stated he had not consumed any alcohol prior to being stopped. Officer observed that the driver was making fidgety movements and attempted to conceal a burned glass pipe with white residue in the ashtray. Officer instructed the driver to exit the vehicle, and he was very unstable, losing his balance. During a search of the vehicle, officer found a handgun in the passenger side floorboard. Officer questioned the driver about his criminal history, asking if he was a convicted felon and he stated he was. Offender was detained and as the search continued, officer discovered multiple alcoholic beverages, broken tablets, rounds of ammo and various clothing items in the vehicle. Offender refused to submit to a chemical test and to answer any questions. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer noticed a vehicle with a defective brake light on Mable Ave., at which time he initiated a traffic stop. K9 was requested and gave a positive alert at the driver’s side door. Offender gave consent to a search and a used meth pipe was found on offender’s person. In the vehicle, meth, pills and a firearm were found. The firearm returned as stolen. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a 911 hang-up call. 911 advised they heard a female crying and a male screaming. Officers approached the door and announced themselves as they attempted to open the door as it was being held by someone. Officers then announced themselves again and ordered them to open the door as he pushed it open. A male subject jumped back away from the door and sat on the floor and behind the door was a female covering her body with a pillow. Officer stepped outside with the male subject while another officer stayed inside with the female subject. While she was getting clothes, she stated an argument began over allegations of cheating and the male got loud and began arguing loudly and started packing items. The female stated when offender started getting louder and louder, she attempted to walk outside, and offender drug her into the bathroom. Victim stated that during the altercation, offender took his forearm and shoved it against her mouth and chin to stop her from screaming and told her if she screamed again or opened the door, he would punch her eight times. Officer observed a small laceration and marks on victim. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to a report of fraudulent activity. Complainant stated her bank notified her of a possible fraudulent transaction and she reviewed it to discovered it was made at the 24-hour store and it was not made by her. C/p advised she spoke with the employee at Easy Stop who reviewed video footage and advised a male and female both wearing WalMart employee vests made the purchase of $92 and some change.
Officer observed a vehicle with what appeared to be mirror tint or glazing on the windows and he could not see inside the vehicle, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver and passenger were asked to step out of the vehicle. Officer asked the passenger for permission to search him, and suspected cocaine was found. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle at various locations and was seen parked at Budget Inn, a location known for illegal drug activity. Officer positioned his patrol unit to maintain visual surveillance of the vehicle and within appx. 15 minutes, the vehicle departed the Budget Inn. Officer followed the vehicle and when the driver noticed him, he turned into the 24-hour store. After leaving the store, officer observed the driver fail to stop properly, at which time officer initiated a traffic stop. Following the traffic stop, officer was informed of a prior traffic stop earlier in the evening and the passenger appeared nervous and was seating heavily.
Officer observed a vehicle illegally parked on the shoulder of Colegrove Dr. obstructing traffic with its lights off. Officer passed by and observed a male subject entering the front passenger seat and the lights came on and the vehicle began traveling in the opposite direction of officer. Officer was able to make contact with the vehicle on Industrial Way and initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle so both occupants were ordered to exit the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, marijuana and an AR-15 pistol was located. Both suspects were placed under arrest and $3,988 was found on one offender. Both were transported to EmCo Jail.
December 15
Officer responded to Deluxe Inn in reference to two females fighting. Victim was intoxicated and not cooperative with officers. Victim’s mother had been called and arrived as officers did and stated her daughter and boyfriend got into a physical altercation. Offender was unable to be located.
Officer responded to The Stockyard Restaurant in reference to a report of two males having a heated argument in front of the restaurant. Officer made contact with both subjects and complainant stated he approached offender about having inappropriate communications with his wife. The two had already settled down prior to officer’s arrival and neither wanted to file a report.
Officer responded to Pierce Ave. in reference to a dispute. Officer observed several people in the front yard as he made contact with two females who stated complainant’s boyfriend struck her in the face because he was intoxicated and wanted the keys to his truck to leave and take his juvenile son with him. C/p stated as she walked away from the argument, offender struck her in the face with a closed fist. Neither party wanted to pursue charges.
Officer was dispatched to Jerome St. in reference to a report of theft of cash. Complainant stated a male subject she knows went to her house and when she told him to leave, he went inside to get his jacket and took $300 out of her zipper pouch.

Officer was behind a vehicle and observed it fail to maintain its lane three times, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and asked the driver to step out of the vehicle. Driver stated he does not have any license and that they have been revoked for about 20 years.
Officers were dispatched to Budget Inn in reference to complainant stating a male tried to sell him drugs. C/p stated the male was putting up Christmas lights on the building and asked him if he wanted to buy some meth. Officers went to Budget Inn and spoke with the male subject who was shaking badly and very nervous acting, with his chest and stomach quivering and his sentences started getting broken when advised of the complaint. Offender gave consent to search the room and meth was found, along with a pipe. 911 advised offender had an active warrant out of Coweta Co. and they wanted to place a hold on him. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
December 16
Officer was at the scene of a traffic stop and deployed K9 who slowed down at the driver side door and inhaled hard and took the alert position which is to sit. During the search, 2.4 grams of marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Later, Inv. report4ed the driver was in possession of 12 grams of meth inside his shoe.
December 17
Officers were executing a search warrant on Colegrove Dr. and K9 was deployed to four different vehicles. K9 alerted to the presence of illegal drug odor coming from three vehicles. K9 was also used inside the residence and alerted to illegal drugs.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated he had been talking to someone online that he thought was a woman who had taken interest in him and showed him pictures of his family that live in another country and told him to send $5,000.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated she was the caretaker of her mother and that her D-Snap card had been hacked.
Officer took several walk-in reports where complainants stated they did not receive their D-Snap benefits.
Officer responded to S. Racetrack St. in reference to a problem with a person. Offender got verbally aggressive towards complainants and requested he be removed from the location.
December 18
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated someone stole her gold necklace and pawned it at Tom’s Pawn Shop.
Officer responded to T&T Supply in reference to an unknown offender purchasing materials and his card was declined and stated he had to call his bank then gave another card number that went through for $4,027.78. Once offender left, T&T received a call from the card holder stating he had not purchased any items form there nor had he authorized anyone to use his card. T&T have video footage of offender and the vehicle.
Officer was dispatched to EMC ER in reference to an irate mental health patient.
