October 19
Complainant went to SPD and stated his neighbor’s dog attacked and killed his dog and his neighbor has been warned about her dogs roaming the neighborhood. C/p wanted a report in hopes that something will be done.
October 22
Officer was stopped by complainant who stated victim needed to make a report. Victim advised someone entered his shop and stole a pole saw valued at $975. C/p stated that earlier that morning, two male subjects went up to her and asked to borrow $6.99 and she told them she didn’t have it, and they went back to the stop sign on Arden Dr. and Fortune Loop.
October 24
Officer was dispatched to S. Racetrack St. in reference to damage to property. Complainant stated she found her business sign laying on the ground broken and kids next door normally plays in the grass where the sign was, and she believes one of them could have broken it. C/p advised she walked next door to speak with a parent but was advised no one was home.
Officer took a damage to a vehicle report. Complainant stated he was driving in WalMart parking lot and yielded left for an oncoming vehicle and struck a yellow pole.
Officers were dispatched to S. Racetrack St. to a possible domestic violence. Complainant informed that his wife was in the residence, and she had locked him out. C/p also stated that his wife and a friend of hers held him down and taped his legs and mouth so he could not leave the night prior, and he fought to get up and left the residence. Officers made contact with the wife who stated that she just arrived home from work and just wanted to relax and was advised that she could not prevent c/p from entering his residence. Both were given citations due to having multiple calls prior.
Officers were dispatched to Kite Rd. in reference to a subject with a self-inflicted gun shot wound. Complainant said he was cleaning his firearm and went to reload it, and it fell and discharged, shooting him in his leg.
Officer observed a vehicle with dark window tint, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana as he approached the driver window and asked the driver for her license. Officer went back to his unit to run the license and tag, and front passenger jumped out and ran.
Officers were dispatched to S. Racetrack St. in reference to a subject hitting another subject. Complainant stated he was on his porch when offender began a verbal altercation across the road then approached him and hit in the face with a closed fist. Officers then made contact with offender who stated he did not go in the roadway with a verbal altercation and did not make any kind of contact with c/p. Officer did observe a large golf ball size know on c/p.
October 25
Officer was asked to speak with complainant who stated a male subject placed a to-go order and after checking his food, he requested cheese dip to be put on the dish. C/p advised c/p that it would be an additional charge because what he ordered did not come with it and stated he was fine with that, so the cheese dip was added. C/p stated shortly after that, offender exited the store with the food and went back in made because all of his food was mixed together and requested a full refund and changed to wanting a more expensive dish at no extra charge. C/p explained to offender that the food was not like that prior to him exiting the store and he must have mixed the food together on accident but due to no wrongdoing by the restaurant, no refund or exchange would be given. Offender then got even more mad and exited the store, throwing his food and drink at the wall.
Officer was dispatched to Harmon Rd. in reference to a dog being tied to complainant’s house. C/p stated the neighbor tied their dog up to a tree in their yard. Officer soke with the neighbor who advised they did not tie to dog up, that it broke its chain and got tangled up around the tree. Owner of the dog retrieved it and tied it back up in his yard.
Complainant made a report about offender who has been harassing him by calling his work. C/p stated that the judge signed a stay away order against offender and was advised that if offender did not stay away, to make a report.
Complainant advised that a rock was thrown up from the roadway on Lambs Bridge Rd., causing a crack in the windshield.
October 26
Officer observed a vehicle with a taillight out, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer noticed the driver chewing gum and not maintaining eye contact with him. Her license was retrieved, and she was asked to step out of the vehicle. Offender refused a field sobriety, but officer could smell alcohol coming from her person and her eyes were bloodshot. Offender was placed under arrest for possible DUI and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer ran the tag on a vehicle to find it did not have valid insurance, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. The driver stated she thought the dealership put insurance on the vehicle. Vehicle was towed.

Officers were dispatched to Popeye’s in reference to a female not wanting to leave and causing a scene. Offender stated she ordered food, and a gentleman wanted a refund, but the manager told him he could not get a refund, so offender stated to the manager that the customer is always right. Offender was issued a criminal trespass from the property.
Officers were dispatched to Domino’s in reference to someone wanting to file a report on someone pulling a gun. Offender was standing by the door and stated an employee’s father went to the store and threatened him by reaching to his waistline and racked a pistol. The store manager advised that offender is always trying to get free food. Offender was criminally trespassed but refused to sign or take a copy of the notice.
Officer noticed a vehicle with a taillight out, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Driver was asked for his name and DOB and 911 advised he had warrants from San Antonio, TX. Officer was informed that Bexar Co. wanted a hold placed on offender. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail for warrants and driving on suspended license.
October 27
Officer made contact with complainant and victim who advised offender physically attacked victim and damaged c/p’s vehicle.
Officer met with complainant on Williams St. in reference to his bicycle being stolen. C/p was visibly intoxicated and upset stating that his bicycle that was given to him by SPD was stolen.
October 28
Officer was dispatched to Warren Ave. in reference to a subject needing a report. C/p stated a small building he was renting had taken damage from the storm and the roof collapsed and he was unable to access anything under it. C/p stated his landlord informed him that he needed to move his belongings, or they would be bulldozed or burnt.
Officers were dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a power line being pulled down by a semi-truck. Complainant stated he saw the damage to his mother’s residence and called it in. Officer made contact with the driver of the semi, and he advised he was unaware of pulling the power line and weather head down.
Officer observed a vehicle with a brake light not working, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer asked the driver for his license, and he stated he did not have it on him and provided an insurance card. Officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana and called for another unit. Offender advised there was a blunt in the ashtray and that he smoked earlier in the day. Offender was cited for possession of marijuana.
October 29
Officer was dispatched to Marion St. in reference to a possible animal cruelty case. A small dog was tied to a vehicle tire with only a foot of leash and did not have any food or water. AC1 was notified. A vehicle arrived and officer noticed a small child sitting in the floorboard of the passenger seat. The driver stated the child was 10 months old and was given safety restraint citations.
Officer was dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to a dispute. A store employee stated a female customer ordered a sandwich and stated it was toasted but she didn’t want it toasted and was informed that it was not toasted. Customer began to get irate and was told to leave but refused.
October 30
Officers were dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a woman calling about her daughter’s dad showing out. Complainants were standing outside the residence with trash strowed on the ground. C/p advised offender became outraged and started to cuss and use vulgar language towards the child and c/p told him that he was not going to talk to her like that and he strew trash across the ground, along with boxes of mail inside the residence.
Officer was dispatched to Crump St. in reference to complainant stating he had a writ of possession on the home and had offender evicted and items were taken that should not have been.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated she was at WalMart and someone backed into her vehicle while she was inside.
911 dispatched officers to Lambs Bridge Rd. in reference to deputy needing assistance. Deputy advised he was out with several subjects fighting. Offender and two of her daughters had been fighting and several family members started fussing and fighting. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
October 31
Officer was dispatched to Mary Ann St. in reference to a dispute between neighbors. Complainant stated offender had been slandering her character by stating that she engages in drug use and that whenever she has visitors, offender looks out her door to observe who is visiting. Offender stated she has not had any interaction with c/p and denied making any negative comments about her or her family members.
