October 18
Officer was dispatched to Mable Ave. in reference to a person stalking complainant and followed her from her residence and was being irate towards her and she did not feel safe. Officer located the suspect on the outside while other officers spoke with c/p. Officer then approached the suspect and informed officer that he was there to speak with his girlfriend’s grandmother due to the assumption that his girlfriend might be cheating on him. Suspect was being verbally irate and using verbal vulgarity. Officer met with c/p who informed that her granddaughter’s boyfriend followed her and got verbally loud towards her so she went inside to get away from him. C/p stated she did not want him to be at the location due to them already having a dispute. Officer went back out to advise suspect that c/p did not want him near her, and he should leave the location to avoid further incident. Suspect left the scene soon after.
Officer was dispatched to Dollar General in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated she does not have a vehicle and every time she tries to walk somewhere, offender follows her in her truck, threatening her and using loud profanity against her. C/p stated she was walking to Dollar General when offender followed her and turned into the parking lot and began arguing with her. C/p stated offender is known to carry a firearm, so she was concerned and called 911.
October 19
Officer observed a driver fail to stop at a red traffic light before making a right turn, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer found the registered owners license to be suspended. Driver was issued a citation and contacted a licensed driver to take possession of the vehicle.
Officer responded to Emanuel Discount in reference to stolen property. Complainant stated she was in the back of the store playing the slot machines and she walked up from for a brief moment and when she returned to the machine, her phone and $20 was missing. Video footage was shown and a female was observed taking the phone and money and exited the store.
October 20
Officer observed a vehicle traveling 60 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. As officer was walking up to the vehicle, he could smell a moderate odor of alcoholic beverage. Officer asked the driver why she was in such a hurry and ask for her license that she could not provide. Offender was transported to SPD to take an intoxilyzer 9000 and while it was being set up, offender got up and walked over to the table where officers phone was and picked it up and began trying to go through it. Officer retrieved his phone and offender was told several times to have a seat and refused. Offender was explained how to take the test and stated she understood then became upset and started crying. She then proceeded to speak to officer about being told how he was before she moved down here and began asking about how much he made off of her DUI. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer asked the driver for his license and insurance, and he stated his license was at home and he was unsure where the insurance card was. Officer asked the driver for his name and DOB and noticed sweat starting to bead up on offender’s forehead while being parked in the shade. The driver was hesitant on giving his info. After running offender’s info, it was determined that he had revoked license. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail. While enroute, officer was called and stated the driver asked if he could get in trouble for lying about his name and DOB and was asked if he lied. Offender then stated his real name and DOB and his license are suspended.
911 dispatched officers to Center St. for an unwanted person. Complainant stated she was being harassed by her sister who keeps going over kicking her door. C/p was advised of the TPO process.
October 21
Officer was dispatched to WalMart parking lot where complainant stated someone had taken $158 from his EBT card and needed a report to be refunded.
Officer responded to Lewis St. for damaged property. Complainant stated her vehicle received damage during the hurricane.
Officer spoke with complainant who stated someone from Philadelphia cleaned out his EBT account and needed a report to be refunded.

Officer responded to WalMart for shoplifting. Offenders skip scanned $121.35 in merchandise. Both were trespassed for two years. Both were transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle with no taillights, at which time he in initiated a traffic stop. Upon making contact with the driver, officer noticed the driver’s license were suspended, the tag was suspended, and the vehicle had no insurance.
October 22
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated a FedEx driver damaged her mailbox on W. Moring St.
Offender was found to have cocaine on his person and was transported to EmCo Jail.
Offender was transported to EmCo Jail for driving with no insurance.
Officers were dispatched to Mist St. in reference to a vehicle in complainant’s driveway. Officer made contact with the driver and could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. Offender’s eyes were glazed and halfway shut and officer had a hard time understanding him at times. Offender was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Oaklawn Dr. in reference to an unknown person hitting one of complainant’s brick columns, causing it to fall completely over.
Officer was approached by a male and female that requested to file a report for harassment. Male subject quit his lawn job and told his boss he was done working for him and he went to another location under the employment of someone else and his ex-boss went to the location and started to get very loud with the male subject and made threats towards him. Officer made contact with offender who stated he did go to the location and stated he did cuss complainant but did not threaten him.
October 23
Complainant stated he noticed fraudulent activity on his debit card totaling $939.86.
Officer spoke with complainant who stated while she attempted to use her EBT card, it was declined. C/p stated she called customer service to find three transactions had been made that she did not approve. C/p stated prior to the suspicious transactions, she used her card at WalMart and the worker told her that the card was not working and requested to hold the card and began writing something down. C/p feels like the worker possibly wrote down her card number and used it.
Officer was dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to a male subject walking around vehicles asking for money. Officer approached the male subject and could smell alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to Murphy’s in reference to an unwanted person. Complainant stated when she leaves, offender goes to the front of the counter and begins cursing at other employees and customers. C/p went to tell offender to leave. and she began cussing her. Offender was sitting in a camping chair on a grassy area just behind Murphy’s and was issued a criminal trespass from the premises.
Officer was dispatched to Mist ST. in reference to a bulldog being stuck under a vehicle. AC1 took custody of the dog due to the owner being unknown.
