Smith repaints Eagle

The Veterans at the Library held their weekly meeting at the Franklin Memorial Library Mon-day morning, July 1, at 9 a.m. With Scotty Nasworthy presiding, they had 40 in attend-ance. Joyce Fennell and Shari Watt provided breakfast to include breakfast casserole, sweet rolls, watermelon, blueberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, orange juice, grape juice, cranberry juice and coffee. Scotty discussed several items and Ty Smith was recognized for repainting the “Eagle” at the Veterans & 1st Responders Memorial Park. Ty is definitely an artist.
