The Patrick Carr Rangers Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its quarterly meeting Monday night, March 10, at President David Hargrove’s home. With Pres-ident David presiding, they had nine in attendance. After the blessing and a delicious meal prepared by President David, Treasurer Bill Tinley gave the treasurers report. The East Fall Line Region Vice President Dess Smith III then presented President David and Treasurer Bill Tinley with five Chapter Flag Streamers; the Siege of Fort Morris, “Come and take it” streamer, the Elijah Clarke Heroes of the Hornets’ Nest streamer, the Battle at Kettle Creek streamer, the Georgia Society President General Award of Distinction 2024 streamer and the Georgia Socie-ty Veterans Award 2024 streamer. Henry Tinley talked a little about the burial site of David Emanuel in Burke County and invited John Tapley to go to the jailhouse and review the documents to see if there is a clue to where he might be buried in Burke County. Those at-tending from the Wiregrass Chapter were John Tapley, Emory Fennell and Dess Smith III.
