Honors programs were held at SHS on Friday, May 17, at Swainsboro High School. Students in grades nine through eleven were honored for their commitment to excellence in academic areas, including highest averages, dual enrollment, and yearly honor and star honor roll.
East Georgia College Dual Enrollment Coordinator Morgan Clifton presented certificates to 10th and 11th-grade students in their L.E.A.D program. This is designed to recognize high school sophomores and juniors for leadership, engagement, achievement, and dedication to their education and future. The Governor’s Honors Program is a summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program. It is designed to provide students with the academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
