Sherrod shows kindness

The police department was recently able to recognize another citizen for showing kindness to others in the community. Earlier this month, LaDaysha Sherrod found a valid credit card in a parking lot of a local business and drove the card to the Swainsboro Police Department headquarters. Officers located the owner of the card and it was returned. Ms. Sherrod was given a Visa gift card donated by Vyve Broadband to reward her for the honest act of kindness.

“It’s with these simply honest and kind events that makes this community so great,” said Swainsboro Police Chief Randy Ellison.
