Week 4 was a tough one. The hunters were stumped by the elusive clues and some even had to ask for secret message help before finding the location to get their books. Great sleuthing skills paid off and 60 hunters received their books at this cute shop-The Clucking Chicken. Many thanks to owner Monica Wren who is a strong supporter of Emanuel County Family Connec-tion’s literacy work. Our total number of families having participated in the hunt at midpoint is 98!
We have 4 more weeks to go so keep up the good work!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The Scavenger Hunt End of Summer Party is planned for July 27th from 10am-11am at the library. We are inviting all the participants to drop by and get any books that they may have missed and enjoy some refreshments. The “secret prize” will be a t-shirt for the hunters who were successful in at least 2 weeks of the scavenger hunt.
