Miss Braswell, Mr. Oglesby announce plans to exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. Matt and Catina Braswell are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Adrianna Raye Braswell, to Austin Blake Oglesby. Mr. Oglesby is the son of Libby and Jerry Caraway of Swainsboro and Eric and Karen Oglesby of Locust Grove.

The bride-elect is 2020 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 2024 graduate of the University of Georgia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and is currently attending Georgia State University in Atlanta to pursue a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Miss Braswell is the granddaughter of Larry and Debbie McDaniel of Swainsboro, Sarah Farrow of Swainsboro and the late Walter Braswell of Yemassee, SC.

The future groom is a 2018 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 2021 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He is currently in his final year of law school at Georgia State University in Atlanta and will graduate with his Juris Doctor degree in May 2025. Mr. Oglesby is the grandson of Kathy Beecher of Oak Park, Reamer and Ramona Oglesby of Twin City, Roz and Tony Sapp of Swainsboro and the late Bennett and Ruby Caraway of Swainsboro.

The wedding is set for May 31, 2025, in Soperton. Formal invitations will be sent at a later date.
