Mrs. Margaret Ann White, age 79, of Twin City, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Emanuel Medical Center. Graveside service was held Tuesday, March 11, at 1 p.m. at Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church with Reverend Franklin Sasser officiating.
Margaret was born September 3, 1945, in Metter, to Carl Grimes and Marie Brown Grimes. She loved to read and sew and enjoyed birdwatching. Margaret enjoyed painting on saw blades, attending church and listening to gospel music. She was a caregiver and loved being around her grandchildren. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents; son, Hank Fielder; daughter, Vicki Collins; granddaughter, Tiffany Klipstine; brothers, Wayne Grimes and Wendell Grimes; and sister, Carolyne Bishop.
Mrs. White is survived by her son, Steve White of Register; daughter, Angela Webb of Portal; sisters, Mary Aleff (Don) of Tuscon, Arizona, Barbara Gay (Charlie) of Twin City, Willene Breedlove of Dallas, Texas, Jean Bruner of Stockbridge and Ruth Newton of Warner Robins; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two exceptional great-grandchildren, Damien Driggers and Serena Ellington; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
