Lisenby speaks to Four Rivers

The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting Thursday night, October 17, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons at 7 p.m. With President Steve DeWeil presiding, they had 19 in attendance. After the invocation by Chaplain Emory Fennell, the Pledge to the U.S. Flag and the Pledge to the SAR, President Steve asked Dess to introduce the speaker for the evening, Mike Lisenby, a retired lawyer. Mike and his wife Nancy live in Swainsboro. Lisenby spoke to on the “Formation of the Colonies, 1600’s/1700’s. The next meeting will be on January 16, 2025.
