Lester Branch, age 75, departed this life on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Pruitt Health Home in Swainsboro following an extended illness. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion AME Church with Minister Calvin Bell officiating, assisted by Pastor Johnny Lee Branch.
Lester was born January 28, 1950, to the late Ed and Ora Bell Branch. He was a native of Emanuel County. Lester was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Church. Mr. Branch is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Jane Williams, Hattie Jerdene Branch, Trudie Branch and Willie Mae Bady; and brother, Eddie Branch.
Mr. Branch is survived by his sister, Sallie Clarke of Garfield; special friends, Sam Kirkland and Clay Clark, both of Garfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
