Mr. Johnny Virgil Turner, 66, of Swainsboro, slipped peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on March 31, 2025, at Pruitt Health in Swainsboro. The family will announce a Private Memorial Service at a later date.
Virgil was born August 8, 1958, to Roy Elliott and Janie Lou Riner Turner. A lifelong resident of Swainsboro, he attended Swainsboro High School and worked in retail management for Dollar General several years. Mr. Turner is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robbie E. Turner. Mr. Turner is survived by his son, Christopher Elliott Turner; four brothers, William Turner of Greenwood, SC, Ronnie Turner of Cochran, Glenn Turner of Swainsboro and Rollie Turner of Summertown; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
