Mrs. Collins was born July 4, 1940, in Metter, to the late Raleigh Wells and Alma Moore Wells. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, known for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family. Jackie found her greatest joy in family gatherings, cherishing time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. To most, she was lovingly known as “Nanny”, a name that reflected the warmth and care she shared with so many. Jackie dedicated many years to running a daycare center, where she nurtured and cared for countless children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. She had a passion for working in her yard, finding peace and happiness in tending to her flowers and gardens. Jackie’s faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of Hawhammock Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Mrs. Collins is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Ray Collins; sisters, Julia Mae Morris and Sarah Wells; brothers, Toby Wells, Robert Wells, Pete Wells and Johnny Wells.
