How Bad Do You Want It?

Have you ever had a longing for something? No one knew how bad you wanted it but there was a yearning inside. Just think about somethings you wanted really bad.

You then begin to ponder and think within yourself how you can achieve it or how you can make it happen. Yes, you begin to search and ask questions. You have to find a way to achieve your goal.

Well, this is what happened to Zacchaeus. He had heard about Jesus, and he wanted to see him for himself. As Jesus entered Jericho, Zacchaeus did not want to miss his opportunity to see Jesus. Because he was short and the crowd was thick and too much for him, he had to figure out a way to see Jesus.

Zacchaeus could run and he could climb although he was short. So, he ran ahead of the crowd and climbed up in a sycamore tree to be able to see Jesus. That made him higher than everyone else. Jesus saw him and went home and ate with him. (Lk.19:1-10)

Now what’s keeping you from receiving Jesus in your home and in your life? What is it you need to change or correct? Maybe the question is how bad do you want him?

The way to look for Jesus is in his Word. For John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” So today if you are searching for Jesus, get in his Word. Made yourself available to God’s Word.
