How many times have you heard that one? Well, no matter because you probably will be hearing it more than you ever have before according to the National Weather Service. We have already been under heat advisories, and they will continue throughout this week. The NWS is already saying July will be the hottest month of 2024. Much of that is the fault of a heat dome that has settled in this part of the country and has been slow to move. f you’re looking for the bright side, it might help to remember that this time last year the country was also dealing with wildfire smoke plumes from Canada and elsewhere. At least that has not contributed to the discomfort this summer. The cooler weather will get here, but in the meantime, “How come you let it get so hot?”
