Going strong

From a vision to a two-bedroom house, to Jesus Saves Church “forever home” A.K.A. the Church at the caution light, we are blessed to have recently celebrated five years as not just a congregation, but as a family. The amount of love and support we have received during the building of our forever home and moving forward, has greatly exceeded our expectations. We have been humbled and remain grateful to our community and all y’all’s support since relocating to our forever home.

Jesus Saves Church has grown in many ways, but the most important is our growth in our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the past two years, as of August 1, some of our documented numbers include: Church membership at 115, 108 baptisms, and to God be the glory, 172 public confessions of faith.

Outside of our normal 11 a.m. Sunday worship and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Bible study, we have many other groups and activities that our Church family, as well as our community, look forward to. Some of these include Sunday morning prayer breakfast, men’s group starts at 8:30 a.m. and women start at 9 a.m. We have a weekly fellowship meal served at 5:45 p.m. every Wednesday before Bible study. We have a monthly senior bingo night, women’s “SWAG” gatherings, tribe and brotherhood. We also have a fast-growing children’s church program and a great group of youth active in our youth program. We have recently started “The Man Church” – a men’s discipleship group that meets every Sunday evening at 4 p.m. Starting September 1, we will have a biweekly discipleship gathering that is focused on mental and emotional awareness and learning the tools that can help grow our focus on Christ. We also have groups that volunteer in prayer drives, jail ministry and so much more.

None of our growth and accomplishments as a church would be possible without the love and support of you all, our community. Of course, all glory goes to Jesus, but when He laid on your heart to give, that’s what you did. From all of us at Jesus Saves Church, we want to thank our community for all your past, present and future support. Whether you supported us financially, through prayer or simply sharing a post on Facebook, we could not have gotten this far without you.
