Emanuel County Farm Bureau President Robert Fountain, along with Greg and Melinda Johnson, visited the state capitol on Tuesday, February 11. While there, they had the opportunity to meet with several Senators and the Lt. Governor while discussing issues that are important to rural Georgians.
Farm Bureau also hosts a luncheon at the Depot adjacent to the capitol. This year’s speakers included Governor Brian Kemp, House Speaker Jon Burns, Ag Commissioner Tyler Harper, Lt. Governor Burt Jones and Attorney General Chris Carr.
Farm Bureau Day at the Capitol is an annual event that brings hundreds of Farm Bureau members to the state capitol in support of rural Georgians.
