Governor Kemp proclaimed November 5 as Retired Educators’ Day in Georgia. Educators all over Georgia celebrated being retired and many years of service to education. One group from the Emanuel Retired Educator Association celebrated at The New Moriah A.M.E. church where Rev. Samuel A. Cooper, Jr. presented the group of educators a proclamation of Georgia Retired Educators’ Day. Afterwards, the entire congregation enjoyed a delicious lunch.
