The Emanuel County Senior Center held its annual Thanksgiving Lunch on Tuesday, November 26. Seniors from all over the county gathered to enjoy turkey and dressing with all the fixings and a day of fine fellowship. Turn out for the event hit a record high with around 50 in attendance. According to Director Beth Gibson, “We are thankful to be able to serve the senior citizens of Emanuel County, and it is our pleasure to be a source of happiness during the holidays. After all, our mission is to be a family…a second home to all those who attend.”
