Ms. Eleni Michele Radford, age 30, of Statesboro, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023. Funeral services were held Friday, December 8, at 2 p.m. at Summertown Baptist Church with Reverend John Durden officiating. Interment followed at Hines Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday, December 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jordan Radford, Trey Radford, Joseph Radford, Ty Moore, Jordan Johnson and Chad Flake.
Ms. Radford was born February 11, 1993, in Millen, to Christopher Alan Radford and Patricia Fries. She grew up in Summertown with her daddy, bonus mom Lindsey, and sisters, Taylor, Brailey and Colbie. Eleni attended Swainsboro Elementary school, but later transferred to Emanuel County Institute where she completed her schooling in 2011. She had a large extended family with many people that loved her to include her extra parents, Charity and Timmy McManus, grandparents, Larry and Deborah Flake and her sister, Kourtney. Eleni loved to camp, fish and shop, and spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do. Her most favorite thing of all was she loved being a mother to her three children, Hunter, Enlee and J.J. Eleni was a devoted mother that loved her children very much. She had a heart of gold, she loved big, and she loved hard. Eleni’s love was always pure and unconditional. She was a true angel on earth. Ms. Radford is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Larry Flake.
Ms. Radford is survived by her parents, Chris and Lindsey Radford of Midville, Charity and Timmy McManus of Hephzibah and Patricia Fries of Millen; sons, Hunter Radford and J.J. Rucker, both of Statesboro; daughter, Enlee Johnson of Statesboro; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Linda Radford of Midville and JoAnn and Ronnie Heath of Summertown; maternal grandmother, Deborah Flake of Jarrard; sisters, Taylor Radford of Swainsboro, Brailey Radford and Colbie Radford, both of Midville, Kourtney Flake of Hephzibah and Michaela Fries of Millen; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
