May 14
Traffic stop was conducted along with a vehicle search due to a scent of marijuana. A firearm was located and the driver claimed it wasn’t his. Driver was not arrested.
May 15
Deputy responded to a call referring to a stolen vehicle. Complainant advised that he noticed his vehicle was missing. He advised that he did have a loaded firearm in the vehicle.
Deputies were dispatched to Pelican Road in reference to a man acting erratically in the roadway. Upon arrival, deputies met with offender who was walking in and out of traffic and was seeing things that were not there. Offender was believed to be under the influence and was arrested.
Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s office in reference to c/p needing to make a report about a stolen firearm.
May 16
Deputies responded to Ricksville Road in reference to an identity theft report. C/p advised that she had responded to a Facebook post for a cable company and thought she has been communicating with a provider. She gave some of her personal information and her service was installed shortly after. C/p received a bill that was not discussed in previous conversations, then discovered that the account was not in her name. Contact was made with the provider.

Deputy performed a traffic stop for a headlight violation. The driver’s license was discovered to be suspended and he was arrested.
C/p stated that the offender came onto her property and cut her water line and replaced it so it would reach his house.
May 17
Deputy performed a traffic stop for a headlight requirement violation. Deputy noticed bruising on the driver’s face and received permission to search the vehicle. Cocaine was found and the passenger (offender) was arrested. Driver was released and issued a warning for the headlights.
May 18
Deputies responded to the Emanuel County Jail in reference to a report. Upon arrival, deputies met with c/p who advised that the offender stole her weed eater.
Deputies responded to a report of threatening text messages. C/p stated that he had been talking with the offender and started receiving threatening text messages if he didn’t give the offender money.
Deputies were dispatched to US 1 South in reference to a female running in the road. Contact was made with the woman on arrival and she seemed extremely frantic. She was arrested.
May 19
Deputies responded to a call referring to someone busting the windshield of a vehicle. Both parties were advised of the process to get a divorce and were advised to stay apart.
