April 22
Complainant stated an unknown vehicle pulled into his yard and sat there. C/p went outside and the vehicle was still sitting there so he motioned with his hands to see what they wanted and went inside to get his weapon and keys and the vehicle turned around and left. C/p followed the vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.
April 23
Deputy observed a vehicle with a headlight out, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Deputy made contact with the driver and asked for his license at which time offender stated he did not have his wallet. Deputy gathered the driver’s information and ran it to find he had suspended license. Offender was taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail.
Complainant reported that her neighbor’s dog runs at her and tries to bite at her and anyone that walks by. She stated the dog has tried several times to run at her while she was in the yard. C/p advised she has talked to the dog’s owner but he refuses to do anything about it.
April 24
Complainant stated someone keeps calling his phone and hanging up, so he sent a text asking who it was. Contact was made with offender and believed there was a misunderstanding and that there should be no more calls from him to c/p.
Deputies were dispatched to Dellwood Main St. in reference to a welfare check on a suicidal subject. Deputies made contact with complainant who advised the male subject began texting c/p’s phone about harming himself and sent a photo of a ratchet strap around his neck with his face turning red and then stopped replying. Deputies and first responders attempted to locate the male subject and located him at the Dellwood Gas Station. Upon approaching him, he began to ignore deputies and began to walk away in a haste. Offender was informed to stop but refused, he attempted to flee into a wooded area. Deputy grabbed him and took him back to the road to speak with him and he was belligerent, aggressive and heavily intoxicated. Offender expressed he did not want to hurt himself but was informed he needed to go to the hospital and he declined wanting to hurt himself. Deputy advised offender he was drunk in public and he could be arrested so he agreed to go to the hospital. Deputy attempted to speak to offender and everything he said angered offender more. Deputy transported offender to the hospital and another deputy spoke with offender’s sister who advised she gave him a place to stay when he got out of prison and he was doing good but has been having issues due to a lack of his depression medicine. Offender’s sister also advised that a condition of his probation was that he could not consume alcohol but has been for several weeks. Offender’s sister stated she is worried about living with offender.
Deputies responded to Old McCleod Bridge Rd. in reference to an animal collision. Complainant advised a deer hit him, causing minor damage to his vehicle.

Deputy was dispatched to Springtime St. in reference to complainant being scammed out of money. C/p stated she was attempting to purchase a residence on W. Pine St. and was contacted by a rent-to-own homes account and the subject sent her an application and application fee. C/p stated she was told to begin paying fees so she sent $910 to the scammer who told her the application was processed by the federal government. C/p then learned this was a fictious account and had been scammed.
April 25
Complainant went to ECSO to report his tag came off on I16 and was not able to find it.
April 27
Deputies assisted Swainsboro Fire Department with a vehicle fire.
Deputies were dispatched to Twin City in reference to two males on private property acting suspicious.
April 28
Deputies were dispatched to Stingray Rd. in reference to a death investigation.
Deputies met with victim on Shearhouse St. in reference to a domestic dispute that happened the night prior on Old Wadley Rd. Victim showed signs of physical abuse and stated she was struck twice by offender and pinned under him. Contact was made with offender who stated he did hit victim. Offender stated victim caused damage to the interior walls of the residence.
Deputy met with complainant in reference to a theft. C/p advised multiple items were stolen from a location outside of the residence and from inside the residence.
