March 17
Deputies were dispatched to Kathleen Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute.
March 18
Deputy responded to Arabian Trail in reference to a criminal trespass report. Complainant stated he received several alerts from his security cameras showing a truck pull up in front of his shop and observed two male subjects get out and walk up to the doors. C/p advised offenders opened his roll-up doors and walked inside the shop.
March 19
Deputy met with complainant on Scarboro Church Rd. in reference to a follow-up concerning a cruelty to animal incident that had been reported. C/p advised she discovered a dog that was severely malnourished and abused and she took it to the vet. C/p was informed by the vet that the dog had to be euthanized due to severe injuries to the jawbone. It is further reported that the injuries sustained were the result of illegal dog fighting. Upon further investigation, multiple items were found within close proximity of where the dog was found.
Deputy and Sheriff responded to Buckeye Rd. in reference to a domestic in progress. Victim had left the scene and offender stated he was trying to grab some keys that his mom had took from him, but she did not want him to have them, so he bit her arm, leaving a bite mark. Sheriff spoke with victim who stated her son was upset and was grabbing and pulling on her, then bit her.
Deputies responded to Ga. Hwy 23 N in reference to a male subject who was shot in the face while cleaning a firearm.
Deputy responded to Wadley Coleman Lake Rd. in reference to livestock in the roadway. Deputy was met by 30 head of cattle and the owner arrived about 5 to 10 minutes later and herded them back inside the pasture.
March 20
Deputies were dispatched to N. 2nd St. in Stillmore in reference to a fight between father and son. Complainant/son stated his father was staying with him and he noticed things were missing and moved inside his residence and noticed some money missing so he confronted his father, and a verbal altercation took place. C/p stated there was no physical contact.
March 22
Victim stated she was on Frank Hutcheson Rd. when she got shot in the top of her finger. Victim stated several people were shooting pistols and it was an accident and didn’t want to press charges.
Victims stated they had several items stolen from them in Jenkins Co. and was told they were in Emanuel Co. One victim stated he let offender borrow his trailer and when he went to get it, the trailer wasn’t there so he called offender to ask where it was, and offender and his brother started making threats towards him. Victim also stated he had four Toyota rims where his trailer was, and they are missing, and offender has them on his vehicle.
Deputy observed a line of vehicles traveling west on Hwy 26, and the two front vehicles pulled up side by side, blocking both lanes of traffic. A horn blew three times and the two vehicles rapidly accelerated and were observed drag racing. Deputy activated his emergency equipment and initiated a traffic stop, giving verbal commands for the drivers to exit the vehicles. The driver of one vehicle exited and deputy was informed by the passenger in the other vehicle that the driver fled on foot. The vehicle belongs to the passenger, but it is believed that he was driving the vehicle. Both vehicles were towed.
March 23
Deputies were dispatched to A St. in reference to two vehicles coming by revving their exhaust as harassment.
Deputy responded to Foskey Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute.
