March 10
Complainant stated her tag came off her vehicle and needed a report to get a new one.
Deputy responded to EMC ER in reference to an animal bite. Victim stated a stray cat went on her property and was attacked by her dog and she was bit while attempting to get the cat away from her dog.
Deputy assisted Detective with a traffic stop on Empire Expressway.
March 11
Deputies responded to Horseshoe Loop in reference to an alarm call. The back door was cracked but the screen door was locked. No signs of forced entry were observed. Later in the day, deputies were called from the homeowner stating he knew he closed and locked the door. Deputies did a security check and walk-through with the homeowner, and he did not notice anything missing.
Complainant stated his tag was missing and needed a report to get a new one.
March 12
Complainant stated he moved out of a residence and left his paperwork there and someone used his SS#, green card and passport to file taxes. C/p advised the unknown person is working at United Infrastructure Group, Inc.
March 13
Deputies were dispatched to EMC ER in reference to an animal collision. Complainant stated a deer struck his vehicle on Hwy 192 South, causing moderate damage to his vehicle.
March 14
Deputies responded to Pike Johnson Rd. in reference to complainant cleaning her gun cabi-net when her shotgun was pulled out and went off, hitting her in the arm. C/p was turned over to EMS.
Deputy was dispatched to Oak Lawn Dr. in reference to an unwanted person on the proper-ty. Complainant stated offender was trespassing on her property and she wanted him re-moved and advised offender is involved with drugs. Offender stated he was trying to stay there with a friend who was locked up the night prior and got his car towed and he has no way of getting his belongings or transportation. Deputy informed offender that the property owner did not want him on the property and was offered a ride, which he declined.
March 15
Deputies responded to Glenwood Rd. in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated she and her landlord have been going back and forth through courts regarding late payments and eviction. C/p stated she had been served from Magistrate Court regarding a seven day notice to respond to late payments and eviction and she responded in a timely manner and pre-sented the signed document. C/p also stated she was going to Magistrate Court to set up a court date in regard to the matter. C/p further stated that offender has been harassing her and cutting off her lights from the electrical box and telling her she has to get out. C/p also stated offender tied to get her to have relations with him to cover the late rent and this made her feel very uncomfortable so she informed offender’s wife, and ever since, offender has been retaliating towards her. Deputy called offender and asked him to stay away from the proper-ty until Monday morning and if the eviction days are up per the Judge, he could set up an appointment with the Sheriff’s Office so a deputy could be there with him to keep peace.
Deputies responded to College St. in reference to a domestic. Victim and her mother stated victim and offender got into a physical altercation. Victim advised this is not the first time offender has beat on her and that she had to bite and scratch offender to get him off of her. Victim stated offender hit her in the head, leaving a knot on her forehead, and also hit her on the arms, leaving bruises, and had her in a headlock. Deputies went to Maple St. to find of-fender who already had two outstanding warrants. The front door was open, but the screen door was locked, and it was very dark inside. Deputy announced they were there, and they were looking for offender and he walked to the door and stated he spoke with the clerk about the warrants. Deputies then advised him they were there about the domestic incident that just took place. Offender turned around and reached down for something and deputy yelled at offender then reached inside a hole in the screen door and unlocked it. Deputy then drew his weapon and gave a verbal command to freeze, at which point offender complied. While enroute to EmCo Jail, offender stated he did not hit victim, he was only protecting himself from her because she is on meth really bad, and she psyched out on him and was hitting him and tried to hit him with her car. Offender was advised it would be looked in to and for him to stay away from victim and her house.
Deputy was dispatched to King Circle Dr. in reference to complainant wanting a welfare check on her father. C/p stated nobody has been allowed to see her father dur to her broth-er/caregiver not allowing other family members to see him. Deputy spoke with victim who stated he was fine. Deputy sked victim if he wanted to see his daughter who drove all the way form Augusta and he stated no.
Deputy met with complainant on Ivey Roundtree Rd. in reference to an unwanted person. C/p stated offender is a co-worker who he invited to move in and later had problems with him being aggressive and irate that would lead to physical altercations. C/p stated he told offender he had to leave, and offender left with some of his belongings.
March 16
Deputies along with SPD and EGSC officers responded to N. Racetrack St. in reference to shots fired. An ID card was found on the ground and officers spoke with residents and one advised he shot the gun a single time in the air. Offender was arrested for firing a gun inside a government housing authority.
