January 29
Deputy observed offender operating a vehicle and was known to have an active warrant through ECSO, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Offender was taken into custody and transported to EmCo Jail.
January 30
Deputy met with complainant in reference to her stating several children scratched her vehicle.
January 31
Deputy met with complainant at ECSO where he stated appx. three weeks ago, he purchased wrestling mats from offender for $1,500 and sent $375 via Cashapp as a deposit to hold the mats then sent the remaining $1,225 via Squareapp due to offender requesting the full amount before shipping them. C/p stated that after paying for the mats, offender has been giving several excuses as to why he cannot ship/deliver the mats.
Deputy responded to Scuffletown Rd. in reference to the caller stating her son stole money from her bank account. Complainant showed deputy her bank statement with several transactions totaling $750, some being made through Cashapp, and advised they were taken fraudulently. Contact was made with c/p’s son who stated he hasn’t had a Cashapp account since 2022, and advised he did not recognize any of the charges on c/p’s statement as being any he made.
February 1
Deputies were dispatched to Ogburn Dr. in reference to someone dumping tires beside the roadway. February 2
Deputy met with complainant concerning an eviction process.
February 3
Deputy was dispatched to Maple Ave. in reference to an ex breaking into caller’s house and destroying property. Deputy observed multiple items destroyed throughout the home and offender’s wallet on the floor. Complainant advised her ex went to her residence while she had a friend over and offender and the friend got into an altercation. C/p stated they left the residence and when she returned, she found offender had broken in. Deputy informed c/p to obtain a TPO and was referred to Magistrate Court to obtain warrants for offender.
Deputy responded to Quick Loop in reference to complainant advised she was out of town and her ex/offender went to her residence and stole her vehicle.
