January 6
Deputy spoke with complainant in reference to an animal collision on Hwy 23 South.
January 8
Investigator and deputy witnessed a vehicle traveling on Hey 1 North with known offender driving, known to have suspended/revoked license, at which time they initiated a traffic stop. During the stop and search of the vehicle, offender was found to be in possession of meth. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Deputy made a traffic stop for suspended tag and no valid insurance on N. Main St. to find four offenders with possession of drug related objects.
January 9
Deputy was informed of a vehicle stolen from Enmarket and advised the suspect was possibly in Oak Park. Deputy traveled to Oak Park and was advised the vehicle was found damaged in the woods off of Long Bay Rd. Offender was seen on Long Bay Dr. but SPD advised not to arrest him at the moment.
January 10
Deputies were dispatched to Long Bay Dr. in reference to complainant stating her neighbor walked into the woods and shot her dog. Deputy made contact with the neighbor who stated there has been a group of dogs that keep going in her home killing her chickens and cats. She stated the dogs went in her yard on this date and began trying to jump on her dog that is on a chain and that’s when she went inside and got her gun and shot at the dogs. The neighbor explained she has called 911 several times and has even went over to c/p’s house and asked them to keep their dogs put up and they refuse to do so. She also explained that every time she has called the police, c/p goes over to her house and damages it and they have even been shooting at her house.
Deputies were dispatched to SPD in reference to a walk-in report. Complainant explained that he and his wife are going through a divorce but they still live together and he has had cameras placed in the home and his wife had another man in the house while he was gone. C/p also stated his wife tells the guy his every move and where he is at all times. He also explained that his wife has been going around telling people that he has been beating her and wanted a paper trail because he feels like his wife and the guy are planning something as if they are going to hurt or kill him.
January 11
Deputy responded to Peyton Rd. in reference to an altercation involving sisters. The incident ensued when offender entered victim’s room after being told not to go in and a heated argument escalated into a physical altercation. Victim sustained a deep laceration on her arm and was transported by EMS. Offender was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Deputies responded to EMC ER in reference to a dog bite. Victim stated he was walking on Lee St. when a dog went into the road and bit him on the leg and he had to punch him to make him let go. Deputies made contact with the owner of the dog and they advised the dog broke out of its pen and would be more than happy to pay the medical bill.
January 13
Deputies responded to Hwy 80 East in reference to a burglary. Complainant stated his landlord went to his shop to retrieve some items and some were missing. Complainant stated the spare key was hanging in the lock.
Deputies were dispatched to Maple St. in reference to the caller’s house being broken into and her things being damaged by her ex-boyfriend. Complainant stated the cords to her lamps were cut and the couches were covered in grease seasonings. He heater cords were cut and her bed was covered in grease and liquid that seemed to be bleach. The front door was kicked in and deputy observed that the door jam was broken. C/p stated she called offender and he denied doing this, then drove to her residence and punched her in the mouth with a closed fist. C/p did have a busted and swollen lip. C/p advised she wanted to press charges.
Deputy was contacted by complainant regarding offender being at her residence. Deputy was aware that offender had active warrants through Oak Park. Contact was made with offender at his residence and he was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
