On Monday, September 25, the Emanuel County Institute Future Business Leaders of America held its annual new member induction and officer installation ceremony. Mrs. Jessica Smith, Adviser, welcomed everyone to the ceremony and began to install the new officer team for the 2023-2024 school year. The candle ceremony was an important part of the evening, with each being lit by its prospective officer and the meaning of the candle and the officer’s duties explained. Each new officer pledged to fulfill her duties and obligations to make ECI FLBA an even greater organization. The new officers are Blake Librizzi, president; Ansley Moxley, junior adviser; Brailey Radford, vice president; Madison Bell, public relations chairman; Emmi Lai Tyam, reporter; Parker Frederick, secretary; and Wallee Kersey, historian. Following the new officer’s installation, all new members were welcomed into the organization.
Senior officers were the guest speaker for the evening. They talked about the impact that Career Technical Student Organizations like FBLA have had on their lives. They shared important details of the organization. To conclude, the evening guests enjoyed refreshments.
