ECI Bulldog Battalion holds 31st Annual Award Ceremony

On April 25, the ECI Bulldog Battalion had its 31st Annual Award Ceremony, where they celebrated and honored all cadets who participated and contributed to the ECI JROTC Program. Starting with Cadet Sergeant Diana Blanco and Cadet Command Sergeant Major Samantha Reyes, who earned their first JROTC National Award for Scholastic Excellence, Cadet Sergeant Diana Blanco also earned Cadet of the Year. Following behind her was Cadet Major Jayden Henry who received her second National Award from the Military Officer Association of America, Cadet Captain Erin Stanford received the Military Order of World Wars award. Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Alana Canady received her third National Award. She was also given the honor of becoming the next ECI Bulldog Battalion Commander, where she highlighted one of SFC John Nelson’s favorite quotes: “Never let anyone turn your light switch on and off.”

The ECI JROTC battalion finished its program by celebrating its seniors, Asia Gibbons and Nicholas Newkirt. Congratulations to both of them as they embark on their new journeys in life. We hope they both do great things and become very successful in this world.
