ECHS January meeting set for January 23

The Emanuel County Historic Society will host its January meeting Thursday the 23rd at Calvary Methodist Church Social Hall on S. Main St. in Swainsboro at 7 p.m. Please bring a potluck dish to share. Ride by the museum and see the facelift the County gave the museum building and repairs to the carriage barn! Hurricane Helene took its toll on our old buildings, mainly the tin roofs, but repairs will be made as soon as possible. Plans are for Open House on Sunday afternoon, February 9 from 1-4 p.m. Our April meeting will be held at the museum grounds as usual. Hope to see you January 23!
