Dr. Warnock named sole finalist for superintendent position

The Emanuel County Board of Education voted, after an in-depth interviewing process was completed, at a Called Meeting in open session on February 15, 2024, to approve the appointment of Dr. Denise Warnock as the Sole Finalist for the next Emanuel County School Superintendent position.

This naming was not a final action. The Board will take official action on appointing the next Emanuel County School Superintendent following a 14-day period (see notice of disclosure below).

Dr. Denise Warnock’s application materials may be reviewed at the Emanuel County Board of Education office located at 201 North Main Street, Swainsboro, Georgia 30401.

Notice of Disclosure: At least 14 calendar days prior to the meeting at which final action or vote is to be taken on the position of superintendent, all documents concerning the Sole Finalist shall be subject to inspection and copying. The board can vote on the appointment at any time after the 14-day period.
