The David Emanuel Academy varsity basketball teams journeyed to Glascock County on February 8 to take on the Panthers. Starting the night, the Lady Eagles fell short to the Pan-thers with a final score of 43-32. Lead scorer for the Lady Eagles was Kylie Bell with 13 points. Also contributing to the scoreboard was Addalyn Terwilliger with 9 points, Emma Proctor with 5 points, Aubrey Williams 3 points and Bailey McNure 2 points.
In the varsity boys’ game, the Eagles started out strong and never looked back. Dominating the entire game, the Eagles secured a 60-15 victory over the Panthers. Randon Williams led the team with 25 points followed by Billy Martin with 15 points, Peyton Lee 8 points, Ethan Fields 5 points, Brody Fleming 3 points, and Jay Carter and AJ Edenfield each with 2 points.
