The Fall Line Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution, held its monthly meeting, Tuesday night, January 9, at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce at 7 p.m. With President Sandy Mercer presiding, they had 12 in attendance. The program for the evening was introduced by the East Fall Line Region Vice President Dess D. Smith III. Compatriot Dess introduced Compatriot Hu Daughtry who presented his program on “Irish American Patriots in the Family Tree”. Hu is a member of the Mill Creek Chapter in Statesboro and lives with his wife Susan in Metter. President Sandy talked about the possibil-ity of the Chapter being more involved in the Wreaths Across American project next year. The last two years, the chapter has provided chairs for the ceremony on Wreaths Across America day.
