A Celebration of Life was held for Chief Apostle Clyde Fowler, Sr. on Saturday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Temple Worship Center in Midville.
Chief Apostle Clyde Fowler was born March 21, 1936, to the late Nathaniel and Minnie C. Fowler. Clyde attended Southeastern Technical College in 1972 where he enrolled in the Automotive Program and also attended Theologian School. He worked at NAPA for 62 years where he was respected and loved by everyone he met. Clyde started his Christian journey at an incredibly early age and was an Evangelist. In September 2015, he was affirmed as Chief Apostle and devoted his life to teaching and practicing God’s word. Chief Apostle Flower is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ella Bell, Bertha, John, Novella, Bonnie and Bobby.
Chief Apostle Fowler leaves to cherish his memories with his devoted wife, Mary Ellen Fowler; children, Rosemerry Johnson (Clay) of Summertown, Ellen Fowler-Bostic and Dolores C. Walker (John), both of Augusta, Clyde Fowler, Jr. (Tammy) and Gail Dunning-Brown (Anthony), both of Swainsboro and Charles Fowler (Panthna) of Columbia, SC; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
