Burke speaks to Four Rivers

The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held their monthly meeting Thursday night, July 18, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons at 6:30 p.m. With President Steve DeWeil presiding, they had 19 in attendance. President Steve called on Chaplain Emory Fennell to lead the Pledge to the U.S. Flag, the Pledge to the Sons of the American Revolution and the Invocation. President Steve then introduced the speaker for the evening, Wiregrass Chapter of Swainsboro President Steve Burke. Steve’s presentation was his four table Revolutionary times Sons of the American Revolution “Travelin Trunk”. President Steve then asked Chaplain Emory to lead the SAR Processional and the closing prayer.
