Brier Creek Artillery participates in the 250th event at Cohens Bluff

The Brier Creek Artillery traveled to Cohens Bluff in Allendale, SC to participate in the 250th Marker Dedication event on Saturday, January 11, at 11 a.m. and then to Salkahatche at 1 p.m. for another event. There were about 150 at both events. The Artillery group is made up of members of the Brier Creek Chapter, GA, Wiregrass Chapter, GA and the Henry Laurens Chapter, SC. At 11 a.m., the Brier Creek Artillery fired their cannons in a 3-round volley in honor of the 250th Marker being dedicated at Cohens Bluff. Then they traveled to USC at Salkahatche, SC to participate in John Derden’s presentation and Steve Burke’s presentation of his “Travelin Trunk”.
