On Thursday, March 21, a little history was made at David Emanuel. Sophomore Richard Braddy pitched a no-hitter against DEA’s longtime foe Thomas Jefferson. Braddy was dominant in the region contest as the Eagles prevailed 2-0. Braddy pitched seven innings and struck out ten Jaguars and was supported with some stellar defense by senior Jay Carter and sophomore Cooper Riner. Tucker Free scored the opening run on an RBI from Brody Fleming and Riner doubled in Billy Martin to account for the Eagles runs.
