Bobby Henry, 87

Mr. Bobby Franklin Henry, age 87, of St. Mary’s, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Riverwood Center in Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 15, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Hardin officiating, assisted by Mr. Buddy Lawson. Interment followed in Lambs Cemetery. Family received friends Saturday, February 15, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Noot Irvin, Ricky Winfrey, John Henry, Craig Grimes, Stan Lawson and Kevin Snipes.

Bobby was born September 27, 1937, in Adrian, to the late John Dewey Henry and Myrtle Hopkins Henry. Mr. Henry is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Florence Winfrey (Jimmy).

Mr. Henry is survived by his wife, Louise S. Henry of St. Mary’s; sons, Jeff Henry (Marci) and Dwain Henry, both of St. Mary’s; daughters, Wendy Jones (Steve) of Kingsland and Holly Henry of St. Mary’s; brother, Nicky Linton Henry (Christie) of East Dublin; sisters, Barbara Ann Lawson (Buddy) of Adrian and Linda Womack (Larry) of Canoochee; grandchildren, Marisa Jones and Laura Jones; great-grandchild, Sunny Jones; and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
