Board of Education holds monthly meeting

The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 8 a.m. at the Central Office with the following members in attendance: Brandon Jones, Cherie Hooks, John Allen Bailey and Tanya Lane. Board Vice-Chair John Allen Bailey welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order. Brandon Jones delivered the invocation followed by Tanya Lane leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Brandon Jones made a motion to approve the agenda. Tanya Lane seconded the motion. Tanya Lane, Cherie Hooks, Brandon Jones, and John Allen Bailey voted “yes”. CARRIED.
