Cadet Diana Blanco and Cadet Samantha Reyes received JROTC awards at the Emanuel County Institute Annual Awards Banquet Thursday, April 27, 2024. Blanco received the American Legion Scholastic Excellence Award and Reyes received the Military Excellence Award.
The JROTC high school program prepares cadets for their rights and responsibilities of being a United States citizen. They are taught self-discipline, self-confidence, and leadership skills needed to meet the challenges of adulthood.
Presenting the certificates and medals were the Swainsboro American Legion Post #103.
