Barbara Ann Pierce Smith, 63

Barbara Ann Pierce Smith, age 63, gained her angel wings on Saturday, December 14, 2024. A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, December 29, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Elder D.G. Mosley presiding. Interment followed in Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery.

Barbara Ann was born November 2, 1961, in Millen, to the late Dorothy Pierce and Devogue Jones. She attended school in Twin City. Barbara Ann worked at Waycross Heath and Rehab as a cook. Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Pierce leaves behind wonderful memories with her daughter, Latoya Pierce of Waycross; sons, Jeffery Clark and Markell Burke, both of Waycross; nine grandchildren, Jameria of Statesboro, Markell, Jr., Jakiia, Makayla, Kelton, Valencia, Kavius, Tacori and Jeffery, Jr., all of Waycross; brother, Charlie Pierce of Twin City; sisters, Annette Jones and Regina Jones, both of Michigan.

Mosley’s’ Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
